A carton turns up with a tracking number and no context. Matching it to an order by hand is slow and easy to get wrong.

“Damaged” means whatever the person typing it meant that day, with nothing recorded about what they saw.

How it works
Three steps, in the order the work actually happens
STEP 02
Grade, then photograph
Record a condition grade against what the order expected, then capture photos on a phone at the dock. An unfinished inspection saves as a draft.
STEP 03
Close it with a packet
Generate an immutable, versioned evidence packet as a PDF and a ZIP, then close the return explicitly.
Preparing a packet does not guarantee a SAFE-T reimbursement or any outcome.

No. ReturnSignal does not file claims and does not handle money. It prepares and organizes the evidence a person uses when they decide to file something themselves.
Does it issue customer refunds?
No. A customer refund is money returned to the Amazon customer. ReturnSignal records what came back and in what condition, and nothing more.
